What is the purpose of this site?
One of the main purposes of this site is to help the church develop leaders. As we prepare the next generation of officers and even members, helping them have a biblical worldview is critical (and required for ordination!). On the other hand, we want to make it as accessible as possible for them.
Why include the scriptures in the text?
It is true that the scriptures break up the text, but this serves to be a continual reminder that it is scripture that is our rule for faith and practice. The Westminster documents, as amazing as they are, are not inspired and are therefore vulnerable to human error. They themselves attest to this.
How did you protect against taking too much license in the questions and organization?
Through prayer and a careful analysis of the content of the documents over a period of many months, while also consulting several published harmonies.
Two of these documents already have questions. Are they not good enough?
The traditional questions are amazing. However, in order to tie together all three documents and to make all of the content more accessible to the uninitiated, these questions have been formulated.
What if I have a suggestion for improvement?
That would be great. Please use the contact form and selection and indicate that is your purpose in writing. We can’t promise to respond to all requests, but we’ll try.
